In 2009 I gained my AFIAP distinction (Artiste de la Fedération Internationale de l'Art Photographique).
Unlike the RPS distinctions, this is gained by accumulating successes in FIAP recognised international salons, and also submitting a panel of ten of the prints that had counted towards the award. The ten prints I chose can be seen here.
The AFIAP has to be gained before submitting for EFIAP - see below.

In 2011 I followed up on the AFIAP (see above) by gaining my EFIAP distinction (Excellence de la Fedération Internationale de l'Art Photographique).
As with the AFIAP, this is gained by accumulating successes in FIAP recognised international salons, and also submitting a panel of ten of the prints that had counted towards the award. The ten prints I chose can be seen here.

EFIAP levels: these requirements change at regular intervals and I cite the current rules below.

I gained my EFIAP/b (Bronze level) in 2014 - the 'levels' start from 'zero' after EFIAP - none of the AFIAP or EFIAP acceptances may be counted towards the 400 that go towards EFIAP/b, and one also has to have gained at least four awards with four different titles in three different countries.  The 400 must include at least 100 different works.

I gained my EFIAP/s (Silver level) in 2015.  This requires at least 700 acceptances, including a minimum of 200 different works and at least five awards, for new images, in four different countries.

I gained my EFIAP/g (Gold level) in 2017.  This requires at least 1000 acceptances, including a minimum of 300 different works and at least six awards, for new images, in five different countries.
